Ok I am writing a website using text.
Every time I wish to veiw it I have to:
1. Save my work
2. Close it and rename the file to .html
3. Veiw it and then close it.
4. Change the file extension back to .txt?
How can I make this more convenient?

Use a proper web editor and you could view it in your browser anytime without changing the extension: |

Save as *.htm (NOT html, that is very outdated). when you want to edit it, right-click it and click Edit or Open With, and choose Notepad. |

To keep your file open, just use SAVE AS (being sure to change Save as Type to All Files) and then open with your browser... You can also open .html files with notepad... Just change it to All Files instead of *.txt |

Buy Adobe Dreamweaver. I use it with Adobe Illustrator and websites just fly off my fingertips. Not really, but it makes building websites super easy. |
